Map for 06 flht

06 FLHTC
K&N A/C
True Duals Conversion with Harley 64926-99 Mufflers
ECM ?

This is a salvage bike I bought and rebuilt. I believe the motor is stock and I don't know if the ECM is stock or has the Stage-1 download. The exhaust on this bike is a True Duals conversion where the crossover pipe is cut off a stock Y pipe and a plate is welded over the rear header pipe where the crossover was cut off.
It gets about 37 MPG and seems to run fairly well but it does pop alot on decell. I downloaded the map you just posted for jebshog and it popped even worse. I tried the ctrl-f to check the rev extend but I just get a dialog box. There is no option to check the rev extend.
Can you give me any suggestions or do I need to get it dyno tuned? Thanks

06TC88,
if you do not have the Rev Xtend option then you must have older firmware installed in the Power Commander. Depending on the version you have installed you may be able to update it without needing any additional hardware.

You can read how to update the firmware here:
http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...e12.13.pdf.zip

That is a direct download to the update guide in PDF format.

The latest firmware file is here:
http://www.powercommander.com/downlo...ware_2.3.2.zip

As far as the popping, I would first check for exhaust leaks. If the file you tried made the popping worse I suspect a leak is the issue. With the way that the exhaust has been modified it is likely. Replace the exhaust gaskets as well.

Once you have updated the firmware and checked (and fixed) for leaks. Let me know if you still have an issue and we can try something else.
