Develop a TMAX base map from a PCIII Map?

My TMax should be here today. I have talked with Zippers and also received a suggestion from the forum for a starting base map (actually several suggestions). I currently have a PCIII on the bike that was tuned last year. I am only changing the exhaust system, from a set of Cycle Shack Slip-ons to a D&D 2-1.

Is it possible (or advisable) to use the PCIII timing map from last years tune (with the slip-ons) as a starting point in developing a base map for the bike with the new D&D exhaust.

It looks like to me that the Tmax has many more inputs for timing than I can find in the PCIII map. Again, is it feasible and has anybody been able to translate backwards from the PCIII to create a TMax base map.

Of course I am assuming that the base timing map from the tune last year would be better than one of the canned maps - saying you can make the translation.

Any thoughts on feasibility?

You can't do it. Your stock timing is stored in your ECM. The PCIII map is offsets from that timing. Besides, the stock ECM + PCIII is using the MAP to determine timing. The tmax uses TPS. You can't easily convert one to the other.
