New Issue Speedo
OK I have a new issue. When reving the motor on the floor at a constant 2-2500 rpm the speedo jumps to 5mph. At idle it is at zero. Anybody heard of that? TIA Don

Do the issues never end?
When idling at a stoplight/sign, the RPM's will surge from 900 too 1100. Back & forth like some weird rythm.

For what it is worth I bought a new ecm and programed it to a 07 ultra config. I also ordered a TTS Tuner module from DOC I wont have it until the end of the month.

 cts,
I hear ya... I'm getting sick & tired of this confusing DTT. Turn signals don't self cancel (which means the VSS is working either), hard starting and just a real PIA...

I will report back with the results the fact that the V tune program will do the same thing that the blm tables do but on a stock delfi ecm caught my interest.

DTT guru's, I have an 04 ultra, 113" headquarters build 575 cams 10.5/1 comp. marren inj.(not sure of spelling). I think they are 1 step above SE inj. D&D fatcat w/perf. baffle. Problem is cold start up, it runs like a carbed engine w/o choke on for a few minuites. But after that it runs pretty good. I think there is a section in the 2D section to address this, but I am still learnng. Any help would be helpful. Thanks Tim

new guy 4 fun, I had the same high idle after hot start. I found out that you have to wait until the idle settles in at 1000 or so before you move the bike. Don't even let it coast. It seems any movement before it returns to normal idle will screw it up. Now when I fuel up I start the bike and wait until it settles in then put it in gear and go. No more problems!

TarHeel Rider,
Have you had any luck with your cold start? I use the ET based cold start adder tables. I will start it cold with the Real time data logging active, then watch the tables for the current temps and write down how much adjustment is needed for that particular temp. Plug in the corrections then let the engine cool and repeat. It has gotten me pretty close.
Once the winter weather arrives, you will need to check it again and see if you need to tweak it for the colder environment
Good Luck.
AG.

I made the conversion yesterday. The Twn Tek came off the new delfi and o2 sensors went on and the tts tuner connected.I was able to put about 50 miles on yesterday and went on 175 mile poker run today. I was able to use the vtune on yesterdays 50 miler and gathered data today and applied the correction. Today's run with minimal adjustment yielded 41 mpg at sea level where I was getting 36 before. I have not heard a single ping out of it what a relief. The vtune works like applying the BLM tables in twin tec speak. What it is adjusting is the VE tables. The motor is running solid no hiccups and is proving to be a self tuner. If you guys want I will report in as the tune progresses I know this is not the right place for it let me know.

This might be a good new thread to start. That way we can keep the systems straight.

I need some help. My IAC is all over the place. I turn the idle screw 1/8 of a turn and it goes into High IAC. I turn it back a around 1/16 and it goes low then I restart and it goes high again. I set the TPs at.4 and have replaced the intake gaskets because of a very small air leak on the front cylinder. Major idle issues. It ran good for a month then went crazy. I will reset the O2 sensors in the morning but I need some help. The bike is a 2007 Street Bob with the 96 inch engine, Bassani Pro Pipe,SE airbox, and I am going to install Andrews 37 cams. You can email me a map or help @ FAST1996@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
Cap

I've had nothing but problems with the TCFI IID for the past 3 years. If it's not one thing, it's another... Nobody in NW Florida can tune it or knows anything about it. SERT & PC are the main items here.
I would never recommend it...

I love the tcfi 2d it works excellent with the bc gerolamy intake system, my problem is with the harley throttle position sensor, I haqve had 2 of them fail and when they do they tell the tcfi the throttle position is about 80 percent so of coursethe thing hardley runs, unplug the thing and the engine starts and runs fine till it goes to closed loop. This system rocks when all is working right, I weigh just under 300 lbs and my dyna will pick ther front tire when you crack the throttle in first with 6 percent overdrive front sprocket and also picks the tire on 1-2 and 2-3 gearshift. I havn't run into a hayabusa on the road yet but havn't been outrun by a riice rocket yet. Like I said my only problem seems to be the throttle position sensors which are a harley part. tom

Looked at the BLM tables. Front is 78 for 2.5% and 1,500rpm. Rear is 79 for 2.5% and 1,500rpm.
These are the codes;
P0373 CKP Signal Lost Trips: 5
P0113 IAT High/Open Trips: 1
P0374 Cylinder Sync Lost Trips: 2
Any one have a clue as to what is going on?

for your IAT code it means that the sensor is either burnt out or has come unplugged, check for the latter ande dont forget the IAT sensor has a plug at the sensor and a second one behind the battery on a dyna and in battery area on a softail (this plug comes undone easily) the cyl sync lost happens on my system when the bike backfires and that sometimes will throw the ckp code. Get the IAT code corrected and the other two will probably not show anymore. Your IAT sensor is telling the twintech the air temp is way out of range and the system cannot compensate for that.
