3 The alpha controls the front and rear cyls. The frt cyl trim makes adjustments to the alpha-n to correct afr due to the design of the v-twin engine. If the Harley had an even firing order (0 - 360) you would not need the front cyl trim. But then it would not sound like a Harley.
4 Not sure. I do not use anything but the DTT.

Hey Curtis-
I'm new to the DTT thing, I have one installed on my stock motor with Rinehart head pipes, CFR mufflers, and Doherty intake. The bike runs awesome, my only adjustments I make in the BLM tables are at around 2500rpms at 2.5% throttle which I attribute to the open exhaust.
My question is in regards to the Front trim table. The guy asking about it sparked my curiosity. Mine is all over the place, it looks really ugly. I want to say I saw someone state they set theirs back to 100 across the board. Can you direct me to some reading on this particular table? I'm sure it's been discussed a **** ton but I can't find it in the 100's of pages here...
You seem to be in the KNOW! LOL!
Thanks Jason

The frt cyl trim will look ugly on some engines based on the combo of cam and pipes. Do not worry about it. If you see + or - % in frt cyl trim it is only a precentage of the alpha-n number at that throttle setting.

Ok, so what I'm looking at is basically the difference between the front and rear Alpha Numeric tables??? In other words, don't touch it!? LOL~
Thanks for the help!
So far, my experience has been awesome with the DTT. I still have a few red cells around 2500 at 2.5% throttle. I'm installing some baffles here shortly to generate some backpressure. I think that will help level the bouncing around I have at that particular rpm.

Do you reset the blm's after you apply them? If not reset them, then ride and apply the blm's. Always reset after applying the blm's.

DTT 3D upgrades
I looked at the DTT 3D map and one of the biggest improvements is it starts at 10" map for timing rather then 16" so we can set light throttle roll on timing. This is a big improvement over the 2D box.

Curtis,
I missed something here. Where are you talking about? Is this with the new DTT TCFI III?

Ahhh, I'm not sure I follow "reset"..
I apply the BLM's, save the changes to the buffer, and then upload. They are all reset to 100 afer I apply the BLM's, but I still have to "reset BLM tables" before I upload it?

Yes. I guess 3D was the wrong term to use.

Some times the blm's will not reset to 100%. So it is best to get in the habit of resetting them each time.

Ok, yes, I have had that happen a few times. I just manually changed that particular cell.
Thanks!

Gents,
Is it required to do the "save to buffer" after you apply the BLM? Or can you just upload after you apply the BLM? What sequence do you use to BLM, such as front cylinder first, apply, save, upload and then back cylinder BLM, apply, save to buffer, then upload or ........... . TIA.

After applying the blm's save to file. Then upload that file.
Apply rear first. Then front. Then reset blm's. Then save to file. Then upload.

I wasn't sure if I should manually adj the Front cyl trim and if so how much and which way?
My set up is the following:
2007 FLXH
96"
Big sucker, andrews 26H cams, and a Thunder header.
I tweaked the baffle to add back pressure which helped smooth it out off idle.
Attached is the last log and the current map.
Thanks in advance for any help!

That looks really screwy, you definitely have something messed up.
First, double check you have the O2 sensor #1 going to the front cylinder, and the #2 to the rear.
Then do the O2 sensor Free Air calibration again, being very careful to follow the instructions.
It should not even be running at that high an AFR, so O2 sensors is the first place to go hunting.
Then, if you still are getting those kind of LOGs, reload the DTT Base Map for the 07' 96", in other words, start over.
