So to get the correct changes I need. I need to go back to the shop that sold me the Ex and swap for a regular PCIII.

If you need to adjust the small throttle opening/low rpm area of the map a non EX version would need to be used.

I have finally recieved the non EX version. I have downloaded map807-176. Installed on the bike. This map stopped allot of the popping. Still have a little around the 1800 to 2500 rpm range. Can you help me adjust those?

Dynojet research,

The map took care of the after burn issue from the exhaust. Totally gone but i have two problems now. When i go to start the bike i wait for the fuel injection to prime before starting. Then when the light goes out i start it. The bikes fires up. The engine light will come on for about 5 seconds and goes out. 2nd issue I have some pinging in the 5th gear around about 30% throttle range.

The engine light coming on again then going out indicates a "stored" error code. It is not an issue unless the light stays on after startup.

I have attached another map. You did not specify what rpm you are at when the pinging starts, but I took an educated guess at it. Try this map and let me know if that cures it.

Sorry about that. I'm guessing in the 2500 to 3000 rpm range. I will load the map today and try it out. Thanks for your help..
