Yes and no, the cable from the computer to interface is a common USB printer cable, so no on this one, but the cable from the interface to the bike is the same, so yes.

Here are the pinouts if you want to make you own cable for the interface to the bike:

Numbers represent pin locations on connector:

Deutsch connector:
1 2
3 4

DB9 Connector:
12345
6789

DC to DB9: pin 1 to pin 1
DC to DB9: pin 2 to pin 6
DC to DB9: pin 3 to pin 5
DC to DB9: pin 4 to pin 8

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Frank

So what is the difference between this one and the regular SERT? I just bought a 08 SG and I want rinehart tru duals, air cleaner, and the SERT. But should I buy the super SERT instead? Down the road I will prolly build this thing too(96).

The difference between Race Tuner and Super Tuner is:

Ability to view and edit more than one table at once (in the "same window")
Update function that gets future softwareupdates over Internet
Dongle has 15 min logging capability
Dongle Connects to PC via USB makin' it more Laptop Friendly
You can paste Values into VE and AFR tables from eg speadsheets.. Excel caculating spreadsheed encloed
That's about it (what I have discovered anyway)

Do you get to own and play with the software or do you have to go to the dealer and have HIM do everything$$$?

If you want a software update, the dongle needs to be hooked up to the bike. Then you need to log onto the website which requires an internet access in the garage etc. Looks like it's targeting dealers.

Hmm....I dunno. Seems to me that the dealers have poor training on SERT so would be hesitant to take my bike somewhere for Super Sert tuning.

Race Tuner Maps Work With New SUPER Race Tuner?

I just received one of these new SUPER race tuners for my 2006 softail. Can I still load up an older map off the original SERT to get me by until I can get it tuned? Just got SE AC and Pro Pipe on stock 88" for now.

I updated the software when i installed it on my laptop and it updated fine. Haven't married the cable to the bike yet.

Is this the proper place to request a map for the new Pro Super Tuner?

(88", SE AC, V&H Pro Pipe (or Supertrapp Supermeg), 25 degree injectors)

No. SERT used .mt6 file type and SUPER TUNER uses .dt0 file type because a different company makes the SUPER TUNER. Maybe someone can convert them?

If you have the SERT 4.77 software which includes the maps, you can cut and paste the tables into the new Supertuner. Maybe interesting if you have a custom map.

Question How to export data from the Sper SERT to Excel?

Previous SERT had an export function that allows data collected by the Data logging option to be exported to excel etc. Anybody knows how to do that with the latest HD SERT contraption? Can't even find a hint in the manuals

I just got this new super tuner. Now I am a bit lost on where to start. I have an '07 Ultra with rinehart true duals and a K&N AC. Does anyone have a map for this or a spreadsheet I could import? Do I start with one of the stock calibrations that came with the tuner and adjust from there?

So... I have the new SUPER tuner. I install the software and ask it to update. It does. Then I mate it to my bike. Or at least it says that there is communication path open with the ECM. I try to install a map and it fails saying that the ECM is not compatible with my software. I look at the software info and sure enough, my ECM part number is not shown. So I try to update the software again and now it won't let me download any updates. What gives? Is this thing just a POS? I thought that it would be backward compatible to a 2006 stock Fatboy. Where do you go to voice a complaint or look for a solution? Is this happening to anyone else?
