with the sert, is it necessary to get the stage 1 map before you do the upgrades with the sert or is that pointless? also any luck yet with the sportster 1200 maps? still undecided about the a/c. i'm trying to get this done before winter and the air force take over my life. thanks!

The correct pinout for the SERT/SEST cable is:

DC to DB9: pin 1 to pin 5
DC to DB9: pin 2 to pin 1
DC to DB9: pin 3 to pin 7
DC to DB9: pin 4 to pin 9

Only three wires are actually used, so I assume this cable has multiple uses elsewhere besides on a Harley. Pin 1 of the Deutsch (flash pin) isn't used.
The reason for 4 wires is to cover the early bikes as well as the late ones. The Delphi system change in 2005 model year.

Se Pro Super Tuner

will had my dyno done two hours to do it he changed the AFR all 14.6 to 13.2 I can not find anything else changed in the tune. With 3.3 gal gas tank I don't know about this. I was getting 45 MPG time will tell. I will let it go and see what I get.

Is it an 883 or a 1200? Do you have race exhaust and the SE Air Cleaner? I only see 2 maps for the Sporty, one is the 883, one the 1200...both with SE Air Cleaner and aftermarket exhaust.

Installed Jims 120 with Super Tuner...

I had a new Jims 120 installed in my FLSTCI 04...I am not happy
Initially I had a Daytona Twin Tec EFI closed loop ECM installed and the first dyno run it produced 116 hp and 125 ft.lbs. torque...but..it had a ping when you blipped the throttle...so the dealership advized me to install a super tuner...they said they got rid of the ping but all they did is turn off cells that produced the ping...so now when I go around a corner and apply throttle there's a dead spot...
My question...does anyone have a good map for a super tuner on a Jims 120...??

little advice please

i have an 08 FXDL SE heavy breather, RUSH slip-ons and just installed 203 cams....had a DYNO run and am running a slightly lean straight line with the exception of the very start where it is alot leaner for just a short time...i have HD's stage one download map. my question is will i get a much better result to justify the cost?...i have 77.56 HP and 89.12 Torque at the rear wheel. when i ride it seams alot faster then stock with a very small flat spot at slow speeds

This is for the build on my 103...specs below....
no dead spots, decel pop down to a minimum, accel enriched a little. It should be a good starting point for you.
you may have to tweak the warm-up enrichment table as well as yer idle rpms, to adjust for your colder temps up there, as well as a few of the tuning setup items..cid and inj. size...etc..

Maybe the TBW is not allowing it to open up 100% your numbers are the same as my stock cam 07.
Then again dynos differ. I just thought the 203 would produce bigger numbers.

I am looking for a copy of the SERT software version 4.77. Is there any way I can pay or get a copy of this from someone. You can e-mail me at gjohnson2@oaklandnet.com

Update

IN ORDER TO UPDATE THE SUPER TUNER YOU MUST CLOSE ALL OF SUPER TUNER UPON STARTING UPDATE OTHERWISE IT WON'T DOWNLOAD. POOR DESIGN

It took several tries to load the software on my PC. After installation I selected the "check for updates" button in the main screen. The program attempted to download a recent patch but couldn't seem to install it and would lock up the computer on me. I will attempt to update the software again tomorrow.

I will load the pdf manual tomorrow for all to read.

Cheers,
Frank

Yes they do. The Super Tuner software also prompts you to close the program before it can continue.
