Got the TTS, latest one, and I would like to know how to do that. It DOES allow saving the existing map so that you can go back to it if you want, but it does not allow you to see/modify the settings, for all I can tell. If you know different, I'd sure like to know.

Hi

Just bought the new SEST ...

One question ... reading the Manual thar came with the software the map for my bob would be the "176AE104" BUT I ONLY find the "176AE105". is this the one?

other one : Is it also possible to control, leave it open, the valve which is built in European bikes to silence the exhaust and the valve in the air cleaner?

Thanks

Please update the SEST first from the website. The latest software starts wit a 2.00000 something and was released very recently, buy it you have to buy the CD separately.

Then we take it from there. What bike are yor trying the flash?

Let's be specific:

The latest calibration IDs for the Touring bikes start with 205xxxx
the latest cal ID for a StreetBob 2008 wit a/c, race exhaust and everything else stock is 176 AE106 as a starting point.

The software is 2.000.0001 level. Please check which version you have.

As to the exhaust/intake valve, yes you can select/deselect them.

Well, as I said in an earlier post, the 2.0000 software comes with the latest version of the SERT, if you do not have it, you can buy it from HD

WOOOAAHH - just checked the v2 software out

In help under "Data Items Descriptions" the following can be read:

"With oxygen-sensor equipped vehicles, six additional data items are recorded:

O2 Sensor Voltage
(F & R cylinders) For Oxygen-sensor equipped vehicles, the O2 sensor voltage is reported. This will be a value between 0 and 5100 mV.
O2 Integrator Value
(F & R cylinders) For Oxygen-sensor equipped vehicles, the O2 Integrator indicates the deviation from the ideal fuel mixture over a few seconds time.

A 100% value means the AFR is exactly as expected, while higher values indicate the mixture is Lean and lower values indicate the mixture is Rich.

VE New Value
(F & R cylinders)
For Oxygen-sensor equipped vehicles, VE New is what the Volumetric Efficiency table value should be, based on A/F feedback."

Havnt played with it yet as I have the Daytona Twin-Scan + wego installed these days.. but it does look interesting - allthough we'll have to settle data from 14,6 areas

That's not a feature exclusive to SEST v2,000, SERT 4.77 already had that............With the SERT data logging you can collect data and export them into excel. Then run a comparison of VE new vs VE current at similar map/rpm/TP setting (closed loop only) and derive the VE for your new map from there. Ain't difficult, but SEST does not have data export capabilities. Go figure

OK - didn't know it was an "old" feature. - my bad - sorry... Anyway I was just hoping that HD were on the way to a autotune setup or at setup with embedded "twin-scan + Wego" ... I mean - everything is there - just need the wide band o2 sensors ... Oh well will propably never happnen - and if it does we'll need new bikes or at least new ecm's ( wide band o 2 sensors have 5 cables instead of 2 )

A question: This morning I upgrated the bike to 205 software level and have set ATMS on.. I then expected that the feature from the 09's where you roll throttle off to zero and hold it there for 5 secs would shut of the rear cylinder...(I undestand that several can do that on 08's as well)

What happens is this: I hold the throttle at zero. After 5 secs the cruise lamp starts flashing green but stops whenever I release the throttle. If I do it again the cruise lamp starts flashing red - and stops when I release..... Seems like something is there - but engine keeps running steady idle

Maybe this only works after engine reaches a certain temperature ??- It's pretty darn cold here this morning so even after riding 20 mins + 10 mins idle the egine won't go over 117 deg C (242 F) - thats not even near the temps that are reached on a hot day in stop and go traffic

Roll on/off the throttle acts just like a toggle switch that enable/disables the EIMTS function. The conditions under which the EIMTS engages/disengages are unchanged. I am not aware of different functionality of the 2009 bikes, may very well be.

PS Green light indicates EIMTS on
