Are the temps and throttle openings something you get with a dyno run??? Or is it something you have to request??? I have zero experience with dyno runs. There is a dealership around here that does $20 runs a couple of times a year. I am getting ready to get a fuelpak and like the idea that I can have my settings fine tuned.

It is something you need to ask the tech for, usually, they can do this without and problem.

The more Info you can give them, the better they can dial it in.

Is there any other info I could ask for that would help in getting a better fine-tune???

V&H marketing "you are a genius"...doesn;t seem like a whole lot of genius' are posting on this one except Jeffytune. If I had to guess, i'd say jeffytune must be on V&H payroll.......just sayin'
I really don't think it's a bad product, just wish there was more info....

Once again, I do not work for or have an affiliation with Vance and Hines, I just like there products and am trying to help others if there is an Issue.

I have ben doing automotive FI for 30 years, and Delphi (GM) makes Harley set-up, so I know the system to point.

The Point you make is a good one, and in most cases, the program the booklet has work just fine, it's when it has an Issue that I can help you use these steps to help them help you.

The dyno sheet itself should show the Temp and humidity and what correction they are using, but almost all do put this on the print out.

I'm getting the Fuel Pak with a D&D Fat Cat and Big Sucker for my 07 Softail Deluxe. They don't have a map just for that setup. Do you think the Thunderheader map would work?

My first post on this forum. Hello to all!

I bought A 2005 ultra . It has Screamin Eagle slash down pipes, High flow A/C . And I was told it has the stage 1 down load . I bought A fuel pak . And it dosnt list what I have with stage 1 , Only stock .
So am I screwed ? Why would Vance & Hines have some maps for some stage 1 and others they dont ?
Any suggestions ? I did email them but have not heard back from them yet .
My bike does alot of backfiring on decell , And coughs/backfire ? or something between shifts.
And slight surge at slow steady speed .

'06 Street Bob, V&H Straightshot mufflers, V&H Fuelpak, K&N kit.

Used the stock numbers from the V&H documentation for the fuelpak. Bike runs well. No starting issues, no popping, sounds great.

I'll probably dyno it someday out of curiosity but feel no need to.

Hi.

Use this link here.....

http://www.fuelpakfi.com/harley1.html

It will ask you to put the info from your bike, and your e-mail.
Use the other when you get to exhaust and give them all the info you can.
It then goes to V&H's tuning shop and in a couple days they will send you a map for your bike.

Hi Jack.

Well, I didn't have a problem finding it, here you go.

It is FP-0386 in your book.

You can double check in on Vance and Hines fuelpak site.

Recieved an email from Adam Rogers
Fuel Pak Technical Support. And they suggested FP-0384.
Thank you

Okay lookng at something else for the mistress. Mainly like to get a little more bang if possible without the high cost of doing a full 98 kit etc. Thats in the future but need to save a bit more.....LOL

So do I go Power commander or Fuelpak? Will either give me a bit more oohmpf?

06 Heritage, with SE Pro II slip-ons, SE air filter did the upgraded ECM via dealer basic Stage I.

So looking for opinions.

thanks
