Great Results
Okay, installed the Fuelpak using FP-1410 then rode about 100 miles of my usual roads.
1. Throttle response much quicker and stronger.
2. Feels meaner throughout the range but still very smooth.
3. The more I rode the more I wanted to find a sport bike to attack!
4. No decel pops, even the gurgling is decreased.
Can't ask for more. Makes you realize how crappy the HD Stage I map is.

05 Flht
I bought a 05 FLHT, it had screaming eagle one piece slip-ons on it when i bought it. it back-fired awful bad,ran pretty good. I talked with the dealer, they told me that they didn't adjust the stock map on it, they also told me that i needed a hi-flow air cleaner to make it run better. so i got the S-E hi-flow installed it. it really poped then, I didn't even dare ride it because i thought it might be running way to lean. I got the V&H fuel pac from JP Cycle, it was very easy to install and seems to be working well. I put in FP-0383 that is the numbers they recomended for my set-up. It still has a little decel pop, but not bad. All in all i like the fuel-pac

You might try this......
recheck all the cell, then re-due cell 19. try to use a steady motion, count 1-one thousand (Full throttle) then 2-one thousand closed.
Practice this before hand to get a feel for, be as smooth and even of speed as possible.
The recheck the throttle on cell 22, make sure it goes from 00 to 99 then back to 00.
Then turn it off, and wait a minute, and then take her for a spin.
If it still has Issues, I would say you need to check the Intake and exhaust seals.

Just thought of something
For Softails, the installation basically is to replace the ECM tray with a deeper one so that the ECM with the Fuelpak stacked on top won't be higher than the original ECM height. That puts the tray closer to the rear tire. It is possible for the tire to hit the deeper tray? Say you have a passenger and you hit a pothole and bottom the rear suspension. I'm assuming V&H thought of that but just asking.
From reading other forums, people should be wary of using the Fuelpak if your engine, exhaust, and air filter combination doesn't match an existing configuration. It can be frustrating trying to get V&H to hack a configuration that works for you.
I'm probably going to change the SE mufflers for a V&H ProPipe next year so I'm good for the long run with the Fuelpak.

I wonder if V&H has a mapping for a stock air filter, stock pipes. You know, just to clean up the lean condition

I asked that question too, they said there unit is made to be used with a free flow air filter and pipes, but if you set it up at 00 in all cells 1-18, calibrate as normal in 19, and then leave the rest be, it should help it with acceleration and back-firing.
i do not know if it will help with the heat, but it might, It would be best to talk with vance and hines directly.

Hi Terry.
Vance and Hines is trying(As I understand) to get the fuelpak C.A.R.B approved.(California air resources Board.) So they have decided to not release the how it works to the general public at this time.
They have thought about making a tuners CD for dyno tuners, but with your bike, I really don't see a need to, just use the pre-made program for it, and you should be good to go.
Assuming your bikes program is the same as a US model, you should be use there info provided, but you should check with V&H to verify as the International models maybe using a different base program.

Fuelpak
Yea, you really have to look at the Fuelpak as a black box for people who aren't interested in working with dyno tuners and making regular changes to strive for maximum performance. You just buy it, plug in the numbers and hope for the best. You just have to trust Vance & Hines on the numbers. Simple solution for a reasonable price.

It's really not that hard.
1) You need to have the picture uploaded to a web gallery, and as fate would have it, we have one on this sight. Go to the gallery, enter your screen name and then click on the "My Pictures" from there on the left top there is a "Upload pictures" and from your computer you can upload into your own gallery.
2) Once you have it loaded, on the thumbnail (Small picture you uploaded) do a right mouse click, this will bring up a Info tab, click on "Properties", this will bring a second info window up that will have the address line, drag your cursor over it to turn that line blue, then push control and the letter C. (Ctrl+C).
3) Now that you have copied the line, when you post or in your signature in advanced just below the little smiley face on top, there will be a little yellow square with a mountain in it, that is the Icon for Images, click on it and a Info window will come up and want you to put in the line you copied, push control and V, (Ctrl+V) this will paste in the address line. Now, there will be a word in it that says "thumb" you want to replace that with the word "Medium" or you pictures will be thumb size. If you remove the word Thumb and one of the back slashes, the picture will be the original size (No reduction), but the high resolution pictures i post will be so large they are too large to see on your monitor.
Then just click "Ok".
It sounds hard, but after you have done it a couple times, it will be very easy......really, if DooF like I can do it, so can you.
BTW, the mod of this forum blocked the option to post pictures in this EFI forum, why? I don't know, seems like it would be nice to post dyno sheets.

I WANT TO WISH EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. I HOPE SANTA BRINGS EVERYONE FUELPAKS AND MANY AFTER MARKET PRODUCTS.
JEFF, THANKS FOR INITIATING THIS THREAD. I'VE LEARNED A LOT AND I KNOW THAT 2008 WILL BRING MUCH MORE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE FUELPAK.
PERSONALLY, WITH FUEL INJECTION EXPLODING WITHIN THE MOTORCYCLE COMMUNITY, I DON'T SEE THIS THREAD GOING ANYWHERE ANY TIME SOON.
