TTS Mastertune??????

hello all, I hope someone can help..I have a 2008 streetglide. I have put a Kuryakyn cam (TC-2D) ,true dual exhaust with kuryakyn crusher mufflers and the TTS mastertune. I have programmed it with the map kuryakyn sent..it runs awesome wide open..but when I try to start off in normal riding, it is very weak till about 1500 RPM. Its almost like taking off in 2nd gear...sluggish until it get the rpms up...anyone know about the fine tuning of the TTS and what to look for..I have also done the data master and v-tune with no change...thanks in advance

You need to get it tuned on a dyno by a qualified tuner.

+ 1 "You need to get it tuned on a dyno by a qualified tuner."

generic map = adjective
1 characteristic of or relating to a class or group of things; not specific : chèvre is a generic term for all goat's milk cheese. See note at universal .
• (of goods, esp. medicinal drugs) having no brand name; not protected by a registered trademark : generic aspirin.

Could be the cam too...50 intake close on a stock bike with true duals...

A good tune might help the situation, but may not cure it.

I agree with TXCHOP 100%. Went through a similar situation with a 56 Intake close cam that was dead on the bottom end. Installed a 42 close cam, and wow what a difference in bottom end!

Have heard the TC-2s like at least 10.5:1 compression for any build.

IMO, the TC-2G was the wrong choice for just a cam swap........

tts mastertune

That really stinks...when you call and talk to people, and that is the cam they reccommend...and now its not that fun to ride at normal riding...getting on it a little, is a blast....very quick, and will light the back tire sweet.......However, after reading a lot in this forum, the andrews 21 or 26 seems to be what I need to be changing to. Thanks for the replies guys...

Tts mastertune adjustments

If anyone that has expierience with the tts mastertune could help me I would very much appreciate it.. I installed it on my 08 streetglide with air cleaner, cams, and pipes..I put it on a dyno today , but the guy knows nothing about the mastertune..He knows and sells the power commander V. The sniffer on the dyno showed the front cylinder to be very very rich as soon as you touch the throttle. It stumbles and hesitates till you get the rpms up around 1500-1800. The sniffer only goes down to 10 and it went to 10 very quick. So it may even be richer than it showed. The back cylinder was more on the lean side....And at the end of the pull the two cylinders went seperate ways..Front rich and back lean..Even with this a little out of allignment it made 85 hp and 87 ft lbs. tq. I have tried to understand the manual but cant seem to get it..I would like to know which table to alter to lean the front cylinder at slight throttle...and would really like to discuss this on the phone if at all possible..I was sent word from Mike Rowland to V-tune it and concentrate on the problem areas...Thats hard to do when it is at slight throttle...There is no other dyno around me.(Wilkesboro,N.C.) Can anyone help??? Thanks,. Kirk 336-262-3760

As Craig already stated, find you a tuner before you waste that engine...Doc can steer you in the direction of someone near you that "gets it"..TTS that is.
