Problem solved and passing on the info
I posted a problem I was having with my bike sneezing at low rpm's (EFI) with a slow throttle increase. No one had any answers and the local bike shop just scratched there heads. I went to another place where the head tech immediately told me to check the fuel line hose in the tank for a leak. He said it's a common problem. There were two holes in the line and the problem is solved. Anybody else having this problem put a pressure check on the fuel line.

The line inside your tank. It rubs a hole or two eventually causing a loss of pressure.

On the way back from a 3 day trip, my bike started 'sneezing' at anything over 60 mph, whenever I'd try to give it some throttle. It kept getting worse as the trip progressed. By the time I got home I couldn't keep the bike over 50 mph. The problem... the fuel line inside the tank had a pin hole in it. After I changed it, the bike ran better than it had in several months. The interesting thing is that I didn't realize that the performance had slowly deteriorated until I replaced the hose. There had been no missing, backfiring, etc. I"m not a 'balls to the wall' type of rider so I didn't really notice it.
One of the things that I realized after it was fixed that could be a clue to trouble shooting the problem is that when you turn the ignition switch on you can hear the fuel pump pressurize inside the tank. On my bike, the pump will run for a couple of seconds and then stop after pressure has built up. When I had the bad hose, the pump would just run and wouldn't pressurize the line.

Ditto, had the same thing happen. The replacement hose is about 2" shorter so it won't rub. Mine started stalling at idle, unless it was completely full. By the time we got home it was barely running, and running HOT - really lean.
Oddly enough, this seems to be a well known and documented problem with a new part to fix it, yet NO Harley dealer service department I talked to (1 in Omaha, 2 in Charlotte, 1 in Tennessee somewhere) had any clue. Or any parts. I only found the answer here.

Yeah, this is really strange. I’ve read other people saying the same thing and when I ordered the parts from my rather large dealer, he said the same thing that he had never ordered parts to replace the in tank hose in the 10 years he had been working at a Harley dealership. WTF?

The place that discovered my problem had it in stock and told me it's a common problem.

I had this problem years ago. if you think you might have this going take your gas cap off and turn your switch to on and the run switch to on. listen and if it's leaking you will hear it. my local dealer had a kit for it and said it was very common.

If you try any aftermarket hose, be SURE it says "fuel injection hose" on it. Normal fuel line can't hold the pump pressure of FI systems. It's expensive stuff too.
