PCIII USB firmware question

I have a PCIII installed on my 2005 Road King Classic. Bike runs great, and I've had no issues of concern whatsoever.

However, I've been reading about a firmware update for my unit, and attempted to install the update via dynajet's website.

When I attempted to do the upgrade, I got an error message. A call to dyno told me that since I have an "older model" of my PCIII, I'd have to send it in for the update.

Can someone tell me EXACTLY what the firmware update will do for me?

Activate Rev-Extend, acceleration enrichment.
Rule one for firmware updates on any device is "if you're happy with it now, don't do the update".

When working on your bike, there's two mottos:
1. If it's not broke, don't fix it.
2. Fix it, until it's broke".

I believe your working with motto 2.
