Throttle Grip Dry Lube?

I ride an '04 Softail Standard EFI bike and need recommendations for a dry lube to use on the throttle-grip/handle-bar when I service that part. Service manual calls for graphite which I don't like. So I need a dry lube for the throttle grip. Any suggestions? Thanks.

(if this post is better placed elsewhere in the forum, please let me know - this just seemed like the place to put a throttle question)

I was gonna say graphite. Not sure why you don't like it - it works really well.

I just find graphite a mess to work with and it gets into places not wanted. I want a dry lube if someone has one to recommend.

spray silicone, use it on dirt bike throttles so dirt doesn't stick.

Short of graphite nothing else is worth using. Never found any dry lubes other than that which will work for more than 5 minutes. Silicone spray included.

If you're using it on the throttle grip? i use a small tube of graphite powder like you would squirt in a key hole - squeeze a little out onto the bar, run the grip over it. Voila. Never had a mess like that.
