The dyno sheets posted in this forum are a representation of what one motorcycle reads on one specific dyno on a specific day. The results can vary and may or may not be an accurate representation of actual torque and horsepower, due to many variables such as geographical location, altitude, weather conditions, make and model of dyno testing equipment, and user testing and reporting methods. The results can vary greatly from one area/dyno to another on what are actually similar builds. Please take the time to research all information available before any decisions are made based on this info. There is a great deal of information available at this forum, and it is up to you as a user to decide which information is credible and accurate. If you are posting sheets, we ask that as much information as possible be disclosed.
Please be aware that there is no set "standard" for representing tq/hp numbers on a dyno sheet. Dyno numbers can vary from one dyno to another and can be significantly different from one manufacturer to another. A dyno is a tool used to tune an engine. Most industry standard dynos lack scientific accuracy required for any type of accurate comparison of one dyno sheet to another. Be aware that there are many techniques to inflate dyno numbers for the purpose of bragging rights and/or advertising.
The VTF previously had no set policy for posting dyno sheets. Nor do we take responsibility for sheets that are posted. It is up to the reader to determine whether the posted numbers are realistic based on information readily available here and other places on the net.
