Not sure if the 58mm TB is new or not....and yep I am using the SERT. The only difference I see between our parts is the AIM VP Clutch and I am still running the stock injectors. Maybe give the Service Manager at the place that did my build a call and see what he has to say. They use Tman parts almost exclusively and do alot of performance builds there.
Kind of surprised you went with the same build after I had expressed some disappointment in the final numbers. Looks like key differences between your build and mine is that you had higher CR (10.8 vs 10.5) and the throttle body size (mine is 54mm (bored out from 50mm by HPI) and you have one of their new 58mm units (i checked their website). I also have the Thundermax (never dyno tuned) and you use the SERT (dyno Tuned). I would guess that the CR had a significant impact on the numbers.
Also, when I talked to Brian (Tmans dyno tuner) he said that they had discovered some "issues" with the flow in the early Pro Touring heads -- apparently something about the port shape. You probably have their newer Stage 2 heads (mine were from 2 years ago).
I'll just ride my 2010 Road King through this summer and then been thinking about freshening it up with Tman Stage 4 heads, 11:1CR and Tman 662-1 cam. I bought a 2010 Wide Glide off of Craigs List during last Thanksgiving and made those Stage 4 mods last month -- I have been very impressed so far even though still breaking it in. Once I finally dyno it in April I'll post the numbers and decide if I want to duplicate it on the Road King.
Enjoy your ride -- it's only 9 degrees here in Ohio so I had to postpone completing my break-in til I get a few more warm days. May not be much better for you if you're in Michigan.
