I don't know what AzFal thinks of his pipes, but I own Python Staggereds (made by V&H) and they sound great! They are very throaty and many people have told me they loved 'em. But, they might be a bit too loud. I actually wear earplugs (and that's with a full-face helmet!). I've ordered the Silent Baffles to tone it down a bit. If you haven't done it yet, go to the V&H site and listen to the Big Shot Staggereds. Good luck.

Nice lookin' wide glide Doug. I definitely like the Big Shots. They have a nice deep, throaty sound to them. I've had a few people volunteer how good they sounded. I don't think they're too loud. The neighbors hear me leave for work at 5 a.m., but hey, it's a Harley!!!

How'd you know I replaced my air filter?! Yes I did. I run an exposed filter with the Rammer a/c cover made by Deweys Pegs. BTW I decided I did need more power & torque after all. I'll be doing a 95" next month.

I was only guessing because I know when you replace pipes you want to complete the air flow cycle which starts at the air filter. good air in, bad air out. Being a California bike the EPA clamps the exhaust so it's sounds like a Vespa, well a very angry Vespa. I want it to sound and perform like a V Twin should. I like the look of the staggered pipes as well. That's next up for me along with lowering the bike an inch.

The devil made me say the Propipe adds about 18hp. I have no idea where that figure came from...more like 6hp. I think...
