'98 LowRider wheel swap question.

My '98 LowRider has the stock 18" wheel. I am interested in installing a 21" wheel. A friend of mine will sell one to me from an '04 Night Train on the cheap. What mods would I have to do to the 21" wheel to make it fit, other than swapping out the fender mounts. I am running the dual disc front. Any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

Check the axle diameter. The 04 has sealed bearings, yours has the tapered style. If the axle diameter is different, you'll need the bearings that can be found in Dennis Kirk, JP cycles, ect. that are sealed type bearings for smaller axle's.

Thanks man. I am under the impression that I would have to change out the fender mounts. Am I right?
