130+hp barhopper/drag bike...

hardtail or dyna chassis? I can only go so far with my daily rider(bagger). I would like to build a twin cam street/strip bike. Which chassis handles the launch better?

Street to strip-
FXR IS THE ONE-Find a cheap, clean unmolested one and strip down/build up from there, or go aftermarket FXR type chassis.

There is a cheap, proven FXR aftermarket roller that looks good for a hot motor implant on the AHDRA classifieds site for 4k.
Good luck!

Why twincam? If I were going to build a drag bike, I'd be basing it on an evo platform-especially when you can get a 127" Ultima for $3500. Definitely agree with the FXR frame as a first choice, and a Dyna wouldn't be a bad choice for going fast in a straight line either. Definitely a chain final drive either way.

Wasn't too long ago I picked up an FXR for $4k. They're out there if you look and wait.

You can pull some power from those engines.
We recently saw 150 ft/lbs from an in-house prepped, 120".
