wait till you get headwork and bring compression up! the 103 (hint) will snatch a knot in your neck then!!!

As Dennis said, if you opt for headwork/valve size increase, down the road, that will really rip. Amazing little cam.

Headwork and big bore is on the wish list. I'm going to put some miles on it first, then I'll be giving you a call. It seems that Hillside sqeaks a little more power/tq out of the Wood cam with their porting.

What is the down side of going to a 107? Would it still be acceptable as a daily rider?

Good question! I too would like to know the expected results of a build consisting of the 107", Hillside heads (recommend compression), and Woods 6G cams.

hillside is modest! scott doesnt just sqeak a little more power, he makes GREAT across the board power!

107, if properly set up, is totally reliable. forged pistons dont have the life as cast, but under harsh conditions ( you will love to beat on this motor) the forged are the way to go to protect you investment. scotts build is the way to go. i dont like the big jerk-------but he does great work.

Guesse I should be a member where I could see his run. Do you have to add anything to the motor torun that cam? like new pushrods or anything else?

my comment about hillside squeaking more power out didn't come out right - I meant they were getting more power out of wood cams with porting than other companies were....

so, i just gotta be willing to go with forged pistons, eh? and yes, I have been beating it more than ever. it's something to be hitting 90 before the end of the on-ramp!

BWdiver, the cam works with all the stock stuff. I could e-mail you the image... PM me your e-mail address.

.

you dont have to, i have ran down the dragstrip many times and several road trips in the hot deep south with woods cams and CAST pistions on my personal bike. notta problem. have forged now ---

BUT, on customers bikes, if they are gonna spin it up or beat it alot, or run higher compression, i recommend forged just for piece of mind.
