103 Build

Hey guys,
Attached is the dyno for a 07 Dyna Street Bob.
The build components are:103BB, Wood Tw6 cam (.510 lift), Fatcat w/quiet baffle and SERT. The heads were ported, cc'd and decked for 10:1 CR by Big Boyz.

The SERT was loaded with a canned HD map and this is the first and only pass.

While this is not a stellar build it is a fun build to ride with good useable power.

I would like to get it tuned. I just am not sure who is good with SERT here in Houston and I wonder if there is really any more left.

Looks like you have a fun build there. I can think back to a 103 build with that cam and a high end port job that made just a tad more tq. looks like you got some great bang for your buck. Have fun with it , I bet with a custom map you will see some more gains if you decide to go that route.

TX, thanks.

I know the peak numbers dont tell the whole story but curious for comparision sake.

I have a 103 54H graph if anyone wants to post it.

Good numbers for the coin spent. 100/100 is a fun ride on a dyna. More folks should follow this build rather than try to make other parts work.

congrats on a fun ride! But you got a lot more left on the table. Get a good qaulity tune to let it really open thing up for you. Good luck

103 Build tuning

After I posted the dyno I sent an email to DOC-HDMD asking him about a good SERT tuner in the Houston area. Nice man; unfortunately he had didn't have any suggestions.

I may take a trip to visit Doc; he's in Orlando about the same distance to El Paso, TX; just around the block Texas style.

Part of my decision on not doing anymore with the build was getting tuned. I felt the limiting factor would be the tuning and did not want to get in to compression and timing issues where tuning would become hyper-critical. I will say that 100/100 is fun Thanks for all the comments.

Woodreau;

Good choice on the tuner. My recent tune on a 103 build with woods 6, rhinehart TD's and Stage II heads from Hillside resulted in a corrected dyno of 103 hp and 112.9 tq. Uncorrected was 106 and 117. You'lll see better results after the tune. My tuner was also trained by Doc.

I'm confused. Are you going to get it tuned or ride it the way it is?

It would be interesting to see what happens to the graph with a good tune.
