Twin Cam Dyno #'s
Just got off the phone with Bob Wood, and during the conversation, he alerted us to the fact that his 75 cam won the hp shoot-out at Daytona, in a 98", @ 171 hp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought that you folks would be interested in knowing that.

We're currenty running the TW75 cam in our 113" twinkie pro mod motor with 16:1 compression and highly modified S&S SA B1 heads. You can now imagine the hp we're making. And yes, we use race gas, VP C14 works pretty good.

Power
When we pulled the 1/4 mile dyno, our custom ground .813 cam that we designed, would show 165-167 hp and 143-145 ft lbs in our 108" dual-carb racer. It ran at 17.25:1 CR. Had a good crisp exhaust note!

Chris,
We blew that combo though our software, and indeed it has to be sitting at about 16:1 CR. Probably C-14 or C-14+, would be my guess. 6800 rpms as per Bob Wood. S&S D carb.
Late power, for good street use, but that is not the intent of such a build.

I'd like to know more about that 75 Cam.
I run Boneville and the Texas mile with a 110 Dyna, I'd like to see the # on that 75 cam just to see how it may effect the Power I'm making.

I looked at his web site, and yelp, looks like that 75 cam should do the trick.

Yep, Wolfgang is one heck of an engine builder! Every part of that motor is custom... except maybe the cam.
