Kuryakyn wild things 95" build's
I have seen many post's on another site HTT! About Kuryakyn wild things builds making 125,130, &137 HP from a 95" street motor using their parts and tuning. Has anyone on the VTF had these results with the Kuryakyn builds? I have never seen these high of HP numbers with any other 95" build for a street motor! The dyno numbers for the Kuryakyn builds are very optomistic!

Not much of a WT following here so I doubt you will get much info here.
Use all their parts - forged heads ($2,000), 10.5 pistons, TB, tc26g cam plus road rage 2-1 and you will hit at least 120hp and 109tq (SAE) pretty much every time with good tune on a 95".
Use same parts but skip forged heads and get OEM heads ported by Bob Wright for half the price of forged heads (works with Mike Roland in WT building) and you will get same tq (maybe a little more) but 5hp less.

Power
We have seen the dyno charts and it is most certainly possible to mark 120-125 hp and even more perhaps, but I do believe, as ejk dyna said, the ducks must be all in a row.

And Mike Roland has to do the tune on his dyno too.

Bobby Wood has cams that will hit these numbers too linked up with the right heads but I wouldn't what to ride it on the street in normal traffic. My 112.5'' Sporty Pro Mod made 182 hp but I wouldn't want to ride it on the road.
My opinion is if you gain in one area you give it up in another unless you have cams that retard them selves at higher rpms with intake lengths changing with rpm and lastly exhaust systems that change flow characteristics in different rpm's....other wise I don't buy a 95'' street worthy Harley making 137hp on any dyno. (and maybe some tall gears will help too)

Well actually, I have seen the 120hp/108tq 95 builds from 2 other dyno's (and a 103 making the same 1.27hp/ci on a third). I think they are legit but they are pricey when you use all their parts including $2,000 heads.

You can get those numbers without the $2000.00 heads. Have Bob Wright port your stock heads, and use the rest of the recipe.

..actually you can't. if you look at post number 2 Bobs heads will make 5-6hp less...comparing apples to apples (ie 4th gear sae). he and mike roland will tell you the same thing. john sachs in florida has been working with the wt cams and his numbers are getting close to Bob's.
..but for a thousand less the Bob Wright heads are a better value IMO.

Your correct. I should have said close to the same numbers. Concerning the tune with WT parts, as more folks use them we're finding out that there's no magic involved. As you stated John Sach's and others are having good results.

"Bobs heads make 5-6 less" Not always
over on HTT 2 103 Crusher builds, one with Kury heads the other with Bob's heads, and the difference is a couple hp/tq with Bobs coming in first in this case. Same builder/tuner on both. I'm betting Bob had something to do with development of the Kury heads.
