Well, I'm gonna do it....
I broke down and bought myself a safety vest so I could ride Godzilla on base once again.

Now, I'm forced to choose a spot for the DOD sticker. The lower left corner of the windshield is the obvious choice. As much as I hate to do it, I hate paying our gas prices for the daily commute.
Well, that and I like riding my bike.
Just sayin'...

Not a bad looking vest, but the color is close to Gazinta safety orange. Might cause problems down the line...

It's possible the potential 'loaner' might consider such a scenario for the 'loanee'...

call these guys here at ft hood HD....Phone: 254-680-4747. the have an aluminum plate that attaches to your lower fork leg or it can be bent to mount elsewhere. when i bought mine i think it was about $16. prety cheap if you ask me when given the choice between putting a DOD sticker on my bike or a removeable plate.
