Hey all -
I know a lot of people are upset about what happened, but I just want to say that I've been around the VTF for awhile now, and I've ALWAYS found that Dave Price has been VERY fair about any disputes that come up.
I've had the opportunity to meet him in person and spend some time around him, and he is a fine, upstanding guy.
Also, I know that he was, and probably still IS, active duty, training our troops to head off to Iraq, so it's possible that when the whole thing blew up, he didn't have time to review ALL details before sending down the first "commandment".
I haven't yet seen the update yet, but I hope that we can all give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to dealing fairly with the Doofs (and all others).
I guess I'm probably a little late to say this, but let's try not to say the sky is falling and jump to conclusions until something actually happens - it'll spare everyone a lot of headaches, and keep the mods from having to jump around to all the different threads that are spawned to put out fires.
From what I can gather from reading up on what happened, I don't feel that the Doofs ganged up on Hillside, and I don't agree with the nature of Hillside's response to some valid questions, but I know that sometimes I forget that I'm not on a doof thread and post something goofy.
I'm going to be more careful from now on to keep Doof business in the Doof forum, and hopefully we'll all go along on our merry doof way as we have been. I think Management has been quite kind and fair to us on most occasions - maybe we can cut them some slack in return here? Just my humble opinion....
