It was a Doof that made that jersey...

Bush ain't a Doof by a long shot...Doof doesn't mean stoopid...just naturally less thoughtful about the consequences of our actions...if indeed Bush was a Doof, I certainly wouldn't be...

It's a family thing.
The shrub has strayed off the true path, though.

Certainly no disrespect to the Doofs intended.

Nope - not any of 'em

This opens an interesting question...is any politician a Doof?

I can only think of possible one who is now out of politics, but a former member of the U.S. Senate - Ben Nighthorse Campbell.
He was the main reason Colorado didn't have mandatory helmet laws during his time in office (he rides a motorcycle - a Harley I believe). Though he served in the national government, I think he had some 'pull' at the state level.

Another interesting story about him; once during his time in D.C. someone tried to mug/rob him. Him, being a black belt in Judo (I think he was on the Olympic team at one time), demonstrated to the would-be mugger the art of hand-to-hand combat, and introduced the guy to the pavement...several times.

Any other 'candidates'?

Our former Congressman John Hostetler, who forgot he had his Beretta in his briefcase.
