I think it is the best Stage 1 package on the market, especially if price (~$700) is factored into the equation.

Chrome seems good on the mufflers. Too soon to tell how they will hold up in the long term.

I think they'll do well against discoloration. They have a heat-shield welded inside the muffler to keep heat away from the front bell where mufflers discolor most often. A new Jackpot is coming out in a few weeks and it will be guaranteed to perform better than any other slip-on for stock head pipes and also guaranteed never to discolor. Don't worry about buying now, as the new ones will not perform any better than the old.

There is no way that I can figure out how to tell the right from the left muffler once you take them out of the bags. (The bags are marked) This is bad because it would be easy to get them mixed up and I was told that the baffles are different. They should really have some way to tell, even an R and L stamped into the mounting bracket or something.

My Jackpots had a sticker attached at the front flange
revealing the proper side. You can also look into the muffler and tell, as the left side has a 3/4" reversion cone welded to the front section of the baffle. Just shine a flashlight in the muffler and you'll see it.

I think my mileage might have suffered a bit. I haven't checked it out yet, but I had my fuel light come on at about 175 or 180 today. I may not have gotten it as full as normal last time though...

Since you've been testing your new-found power I'm not surprised. However, FM tunes on the rich side for cooling and throttle-response, so you should see a drop in mileage, maybe as much as 10% over stock. The PCV can be tweaked easily for mileage by leaning the cruise range, which I won't elaborate on here since I tend to get long-winded about these things. FM has a "mileage map" that he will install when requested, and I recommend it. For me it doesn't go far enough and my bike is considerably leaner than even the mileage map in the cruise range. Its mileage is equal or close to stock. On a recent trip I was right with an '08 RK, stock except for pipes, in mileage--actually beating him when speeds exceeded 65mph. I also have SE255 cams and the FM Power Package (with Auto-Tune), so I'm very happy with the result.
