a big a$$ thank yall!
yall know im slow, and im even slower to write letters, answer emails, send thak yous etc:
but, i had to take time to thank all those that helped me get my scooter back on the road.
all you guys that sent parts are too many to list, so collectively, i appreciate it! even if they were parts i couldnt use, stock , old, doesnt matter, its the thought that counts, and i than each and every one of yall.
randy torgeson, AKA king of cubes, i know you didnt need those old parts i swapped, you have piles of that stuff. the trade was just a cover so you could help a brother out without him feeling terrible. i dont know how you did it, i guess its some of that years of experience stuff, but when mocking up, the deck height was perfect!!!! i mean perfect.the piston kit was new and the clearances measured perfectly. the honeing was great and i dont know how you cut those jugs shorter and still get everything as perfect as you did. your machine work was so accurate that a first timer could have put the motr together!
scott palmer, AKA hillside, man, i dont know what to say, i didnt have any trading material, and you knew i was in dire straights, but you never stuttered, you just constantly said "get it to me so its done right". the cases were much better than they should have been for a bum, they were done proffesionnally just like you would have done them for a drag or show bike. you cleaned them, changed the bearings to two leftys, cleared the passages, checked and machines all areas, and threw in a new GREEN hi-flow filter and studs to boot! scott, man, something i shouldnt say but i have to. YALL, scott told me to send heads and he would make sure i had some serious heads on the motor so it would make power NOW! and he would deal with me later. now thats something a bro just never forgets! you didnt have to, no one asked ya, you volunteered. i will regret saying no thanks, thats just how i am, you had done plenty, any more and i would have felt i had taken advantage of a big heart.
shawn at falicon, thanks for the pro work as usual, and i know you cut a brother a deal, one week turnaround and at those $, you went above and beyond, man!

I have heard that when someone receives great favors, they are supposed to "pay it forward".
I shall PM you my needed parts list, Claydball.
I hope you do me half as good as those guys did you! LOL
Nice pictures.
