This is not my experience with Dynatek. I have used there products since the early 90's faithfully. I have had problems with some of the products. But when sent back, they were usually replaced with new products for free. No questions asked.
Did you purchase the proper product for the proper application?

Yep, just got off the phone with Larry at Dynatek 1-800-928-3962. NONE of the Dynatek products work on HD FULE INJECTION. I ask why dont the put that in the advertisment, all he said was they talked about that but decieded not to because HD has a small demand for their products.

then their web site is very deceiving then. I went there and they have a FI controller in the HD section. check it out.
http://www.dynaonline.com/skins/Default.aspx

http://www.dynaonline.com/skins/prod...fi_controller/
when you click on the second link and select buy product it shows choices for different HD models. something is fishey here.

i guess you are talking of the EFI controller? looks like a DFO (piggyback) device.

these devices are very limited. if you had read before ordering, you would know you cannot tune with a piggyback, only load map from a limited library. i feel for you because you lost money, but it happens to lots of folks that buy fool pak, DFO, cobra, etc, etc.

this problem is enhanced when you run shitty pipes. which pipes did you install BTW?

dynatek (as the above poster stated) is a good product for ignition control, but thats not what it appears you bought, as it wouldnt be used on EFI bikes. remember what i said-----ignorance keeps you buying internet parts.

always consult before buying, this forum will help save you time and money.

Read what, nothing in their advertisment said anything about not working on Harley Davidson EFI system. On the contary the add states "THE DYNATEK SHIFT MINDER SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO WORK ON A BROAD RANGE OF VEHICIES" "INCLUDING HARLEY DAVIDSON" it stated nothing about not working on hd efi. They intential did not state that because according to Larry at DYNATEK " WE TALKED ABOUT THAT BUT DECIEDED NOT TO"

I'm confused, they offer a FI controller for HDs. And it isn't intended for FI?

What the helll did you get?

The Dynatek product in question is the DSMS-2H shift minder and light that they advertise will work on Harley Davidson, but does not work.

Send letters to the BBB and state Attorney General. Send copys to Dynatek and tell them you expect reimbursment for shipping as well as a full refund. Don't just threaten, they get that all the time and it means nothing to them.
Good luck.
