Thumbs up Colorado Springs HD

Just got back from a 4,200 mile ride with 3 of my buddies. Trip went well except for a failure of the infamous fuel filter housing on my 08 Ultra. At the time we were 80 miles west of Colorado Springs in the middle of nowhere. I managed to nurse it to Colorado Springs just before nightfall and was sitting at the door of Colorado Springs HD when the shop opened.

I can't say enough about the way we were treated at this dealership. When I told them we were from out of state and were hoping to make it up Pikes Peak before the end of the day, they moved me to the head of the line. Within a hour they had diagnosed the problem and removed the fuel pump and filter housing. After checking their parts inventory they discovered they didn't have the part in stock. Not a problem. They just pulled it off of a new Ultra that they had in stock. After repairing my bike they detailed it while we were doing the paperwork. Before we left, one of the sales managers gave each of us a handfull of freebees and stickers, even my buddy that was riding a VTX. All of this at no out of pocket to me.

Their treatment of "Harley Owners", even those who are not longtime loyal local customers is an example that other dealerships should follow. My local dealership as well.

That’s good to hear, seems like it goes the other way to often these days.
