SERVICE HOURLY RATES - Survey
To all - Can you reply with the location of your HD Dealer (name not necessary) and...
- the Hourly Rate they charge for Service
- 5k Service w/ parts
- 10k Service w/parts
If you know any/all that would be appreciated...just trying to understand more about how the various parts of the Country differ.
Thanks!
- Jim

I paid around $70 for the 10K service minus the lubes as I did those myself. I do the service on my own bike but have them give it the once over every 10K just to have a HD mechanic I trust check it out and they give it a test ride as well.
service done at http://www.benbreecehd.com/

Hi...Since I have no other replies but yours I wanted to thank you and say your rate for a 10k, one of the most intense service intervals, is awesome! A 10k is about 2.5 hours of labor so a smokin rate for sure...Thanks!

I don't know about the local Harley Stealer since I do all the work myself on my Fatboy. But my neighbor takes his Honda VTX to the local Honda stealer and gets charged $130 an hour. Tell me that ain't a rip off. Hell I think even Brumos Porsche is cheaper than that.BTW in Jacksonville Fl.

It doesn't take 2.5 hours although many will charge for that amount of time. It's an hour or less for two guys to do it at the shop I mentioned.

Ditto here in my part of Ontario. Oh ya, and they also round it UP to the nearest hour........ I'm starting to do a bit on my own now..............I mean, it's over $100 for a friggin' oil change here
