Avoid Chopperstuffinc on eBay

Bottom line is that the guy (Shane) seems to advertise product he doesn't have, takes cash, then delays over and over again for delivery. On the rare occasion that he responds to a question, he tells you a different story every time. Shipping costs are also high.

There are lots of places to pick stuff up. It isn't worth dealing with this one. Worst place I've seen on eBay. I don't pick up much HD stuff there, but have found a few good places. This isn't one.

I've lost my passion for E-Bay.......too many hucksters selling air and imflated shipping costs. I have been much happier lately using Craigslist. Bought a nice bike trailer and was great dealing face to face with the owner at his residence. Less likely to get ripped off once you know someone's real name, address and phone number. Plus you can inspect the goods first.

I agree. I paid $ 3.00 for an item and then paid $ 30 for shipping. E-bay is becomming a total rip-off. The only things I will buy on E-bay are things that I can't find in a regular store.

You can still find some stuff. I found a set of chrome fork lowers and some tins at a great price, reasonable shipping. But you have to be very careful.

In this case I'm expecting the parts on Wednesday, so it's not a complete rip-off. Just someplace to probably avoid.
