Well I just turned 1k miles on my 09 SERG, silver/titanium or pewter or whatever they call it. picked it up in AL a week ago. paid 32.8k, minus a great trade=20k. Bike is awesome. I was dreading the overdrive 6 speed but not to worry, 6th has as much as the rest. Smooth, responsive, handles great. First and second gear, so far, will bring the front tire off the ground.
My question is pipes, been told no header pipes out yet, so what slip ons will work? need to keep the back pressure up. but I want some sound from the beast.
Thought I would miss my Road King, heck, hard to remember it.

How about some pics. Haven't seen the silver except on the HD site. Would love to see some real world pics.

as soon as I can figure out how to do that I will.
so far the best advice I got on exhaust is to go with screamin eagle slip ons, and basic download. wait till they come out with more stuff.
I need to find out what lower fairings will fit it.

I saw the Orange SERG at the Thunder Beach Rally in Panama City Beach FL this past week end. Wow does it look good out in the Sun.
The owner had just bought it at Fort Walton Beach Harley on Friday. Bike only had 128 miles on it.
I can not wait to see the silver one out in the sun

It looks great. the ghost flames really come alive in the sun. Hey, here's a bit of info. I was able to install the plug/play CB module to the radio. ran the wires IN the bar for a great clean install. Not for the faint of heart. Get out the soldering gun & wire lube.
Don't take what dealer sales people tell you to the bank, it's all common sense.

Larry;
HD does not make slip-ons that fit the SERG! A couple of folks have gone with the Rinehart's and also some have pulled the baffles and installed Fullsac baffles ($120). Steve makes 2 different sizes and the smaller ones give you a little more sound but is still quite mellow. Drilling out the CAT, going with a HD Heavy Breather, triple plat plugs, a super tuner and a trip to the Dino will take you from 78hp to 96hp without ever cracking the case!

where are the fullsack baffles available at, and are these pretty much "plug n play"?

It may void the warranty on the slip-ons if they can prove that the baffle caused the issue. Also like anything else, the moco has to prove the baffles caused the problem. The O2 sensors will correct this change when the engine is below 4000rpm. After 4k, the motor goes open loop and may run slightly lean. This is only an issue if you make an extended run over 4k rpm. Anything more than this mod will REQUIRE a super Tuner....hell, with the bafflles only you can get another 10hp with the Super Tuners canned map.

I have seen a couple write ups on the cvo site, under the SERG about doing the Fullsac, Harleys heavy breather and the super tuner giving very big yields in both torque and HP.....

Yep, great site...Jim is leading the way and doing most of the groundwork for the SERG. I was amazed that he got another HP just from plug change. Many good Dyno people have proven the worth of the Heavy Breather.

The SERG's at the Convention Center in Sturgis had ALL the attention. Guys were drooling. Seeing all 3 colors together, it was hard to choose. The silver looked the most traditional, but if I was a serious buyer it would be hard to walk away from the yellow. Until you see it in person, you just can't imagine how hot this bike looks. CVO hit this one out of the park!

Great looking bike there Larry.
Whose windshield is that?
Are you going to remove the reflectors?
