First thing I will do is pipes. I am trying to decide on that now, and of course a power commander or race tunner.
The rest can wait until after delivery so I can see what my likes and dis likes are.
I am sure I will be looking into a driver back rest and hwy pegs

Check in your area to see what the local tuners are most familiar with, Power Commander or SERT, and go with that.

You are correct.
I will talk to the guy who built the motor in my current bike. He uses both power commanders and the SERT.
I have got over 30K trouble free miles since he built and tuned my fatboy. 101 Torq out of my 95" with 96.7 HP.

Got a look at an Orange SERG yesterday.
Dealer wants $35K + fees for it.... they can kiss my cheeks. They have 2 08 SE Ultras on the floor that have been there for months.
I have a deposit on one via our Chapter sponsoring dealer at a better price. Just gotta wait.... I prefer the silver/titanium anyway

That's crazy!!! Did they add anything to it like a tour pack. It's close to 2k to put the chopped tour pack on it. I know because my silver/Titanium will be here this week.

Yea, it is crazy but not has bad as Dayton, Rossmyer.
Post picks when you get the bike, I am waiting on the silver/titanium, until Feb.
Can you run the tour pack in the solo position with the stock seat?

Me too, the lid spoiler looks good on the chopped pack. I want the chopped pack too.

I did not see an option for the tour pack in the solo position. It's pretty cut and dry to add another adapter kit behind the existing backrest and then the adapter plate for the tour pack. Hopefully i'll get some news today!!!

grrr.... youre making me jealous.... I may not see mine until mid-October. (Partially my fault... I changed color from Pumpkin Orange to Shimmering Silver)
Competing dealer has the Orange one on the floor and Oahu is too small to have very many of these around... makes them look "cheap"

If it's any consolation, I don't think any dealer is getting more than 1 or 2 a quarter. So consider yourself lucky if you got a down on a silver one but 35k...... is a little hard to swallow (unless it the SE ultra).
