Topgeye wants to know Dino or Syn?
Even though I'm 66 I'm still a pup compared to what everyone else in this thread has accomplished. After a DUI (my first ever) on July 19th 2014 I had a choice to make. Ride my bike or drink beer. Have not had a drop since that date and am riding My Heritage and lovin every minute. Don't miss the beer but am still cringing from the cost and embarrassment of the DUI. It was my wake up call.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. It stopped you from drinking didn't it? Thats what the law was designed to do. Beer these days smells as good as hospital food. One of my friends is always soused with Budweiser. I talk to him outside.

C&S and riding

I am new to the forum, and sober since 2/5/2016.

I actually went to my first meeting at age 15, but just for probation at the time- no intent on staying clean and sober (unless a pee-test was coming up). Now 18 years later in a strange twist of fate, my most recent habit got my car taken away permanently, thanks to Asset Seizure and Forfeiture laws (which are bullcrap btw), so I sobered up and got on the Night Train as the main mode of transportation.

I could finally ride on the street again without likely killing myself (no longer in a perpetual state of Loadedness). Before this time around it was strictly atv/dirt bikes and beer offroad- now I ride all day everyday - it truly is Living The Dream.

Dang I love that bike....and I think it's much easier to STAY SOBER than it is to GET SOBER.
