Any BMC fans?

I picked up a 2004 BMC Hooligan with the 240 rear tire and re-tuned the Mikuni 42, hooked up a Wimmer intake and Santee drag pipes- the RevTEch 88 is fun and reliable- some rigid related reliability issues ( neg battery cable broke loose, etc) but all in all a nice affordable rigid with an old school look- any experiences out there?

Well, I'm not sure if I'm a fan, but I did pick up a BMC Bobber not too long ago. It's a fun and light bike to ride. And I dig the wide white walls, hehe! If I had some skills in building a bike, I would of built my own bobber. But the BMC always puts a big smile on my face when I'm riding! As for the RevTech 88 engine, so far so good! No problemos here.

Ok, I know this an old post, but havent found any forums where anyone talking about BMC. 04 big daddy softtail here. I think the negative battery cable coming loose is normal, I check mine before every long ride, just like checking air pressure in the tires, other than that no serious problems. 15000 miles, only have a problem when I mess with ****.

Ya I bought my Hooligan recently from an exhaust manufacturer, Hackerpipes. They did all the prototypes for their pipes on it. Cammed it, put in a dyna ignition, and installed a bobber seat. Softened the ride a little. They do make some nice aftermarket pipes though. I'm running their War header which sounds so good. But I might pick up their BMC "Bendz" Series eventually. They also have this new Mayhem header, but it will only fit the BMC Bobbers.

ya I had a friend that ran Santee, kinda weak sounding, but don't look bad at all. I heard that Santee moved their manufacturing overseas to China, which a lot of companies seem to be doing these days. All the 08' BMC Choppers come with Hackerpipes 2-1 headers stock now. Which are like the Warheader I'm running, but with a longer muffler can. Most pipes they build for BMC will alsobolt on H-d Softails too. I think they're a fairly young company, but definitely up and coming.
American quality.

Old post but I wanted to put a pic of my bike, hehe! Just installed Yaffe Skirt Blowers. I also installed drag bars (not shown).
