Talking test drove a vengeance warrior

and i cant stop thinking about it! it is an 04 leftover with a 113" s&s. can anyone tell me the hp and tq rating on the engine? the power was mind blowing compared to my 88" fatboy.
granted the bike is two model years old now, but i think i can get it for 26k new. anyone have any experience with vengeance? the warranty is kinda crappy compared to bigdog. are the trannys relaible?
thanks,
otterbob

Don't pay 26k for a '04. That is close to what you should be paying for a '05.

I was at a Big Dog dealer 2 months ago in GA, that had a bunch of leftover '04's on the showroom floor, and he was asking in the 21k range for them. Bikes, like cars and trucks, depreciate significantly in the first year, even if they are untitled & new.

I paid $28,500 out the door for my '05 American IronHorse Legend last February. When I initially walked into the local dealer, they wanted 35k plus tax, tag, and $1200 in bullshit fees. I found out that MSRP on the bike is only $28,500, (by shopping) and the dealer has about a $3,000 markup.
Shop the bike by phone, and then ask the local stealer to beat your best price. Trust me on this...........a dealer sitting with any '04 chopper a few weeks before the '06 models hit the floor will kiss your ass in Macy's window to get rid of the bike.
