This is a 2001 night train that we chopped in the back yard this summer. Somehow it just dosen't look the same..

There is a nother guy on this forum that had a lot of input on this bike. Donnie and I put this togethor for a friend of ours. I learned a lot and got a lot of the info from this board.

You dropped alot of coin on that.. Did u use the original engine ? Most of cost a ton to change eveyrthing to chrome...

Drive train is all HD. The frame was streched and raked at the local shop. He also made the rear swingarm. We bought the sheetmetal off the internet and had a body shop do the paint. It was a lot of work and YES all toll about 20,000. A lot less than a store bot chop as well as knowing that it is a real Harley.

Have a friend wreck one is how I did it. He did not fait as well as the bike. He had to have a new hip. He is now fine but can't / won't ride.

Nice job!!! How about some details, tire size, frame stretch and rake,oversize of front end? I just bought a wrecked softail and I'm doin the same thing, I was thinking 6 up 4 out 40 degrees with 8 over tubes.....
