Ground up bobber build

Well, since nobody wanted to buy my evo motor parts, I have deceided to build a new bobber for 2013.
It gonna be a rigid Kraft Tech frame with 34 degrees rake, and 2 inch stretch. Standard width. Will run a 3.5x16 in the back. (Something with alot of sidewall) and good sized 21" up front.
Wheels will be 60 spokes with black bands and hubs and chrome/polished stainless spokes.
Will be powered by my soon to be reserected 116" evo featuring R&R Heads and a 640S&S cam.
Paint will be black with deep maroon flames with a 2 digit number on the oil tank. (Havent figured out which one yet)
Tomorrow all my engine parts go to Gary Stroud in Valpo IN.
Hope to have this project done for some summer fun.
Should look similar to the bike in my signature, but different.
Ill post picts as the parts roll in and progress is made.
Here is the engine in its current state.

Looks like a fun project, keep us posted!
No fenders, though. Right?

This one will have a rear fender. I might paint a front one, but not run it more than likely.

The Ultima cases are from around 2003. All the parts are at my builder so I dont have access to the cam cover. However, I dont think we will be reusing it so I can snap a few pictures when I get it all back. The cam cover will be for sale, if your interested.

I was just wondering if the cases were bottom breathers(pre 92 design). My cases are delkrons with the bottom breather.

I am already using the ness radius cover. The cam covers were redisigned after the evo engines went to top breathing as I understand it. I would just like to compare the back side to mine...thanks...

So Tony, did you pick up the Kraft Tech frame yet? You have a great start on this project, I am looking forward to watching your progress.

The frame should be here this week as well as many other parts. Engine is being reassembled, but have to wait for a S&S nose cone. Many more pictures will follow for sure.

Now you are going to need a Baker 6 speed. Who better to get you one than yours truly who is sitting in the Baker sales office right now. Give me a call when you are ready and I'll get you the V-twin forum discount. 517-339-3835
