I just scuffed up all the chrome with red scotchbrite. Gives it that worn out used look. I hate to much chrome. I wanted this bike to have a rough look.

wow! Coolest paint. Saw some sorta in that park at the "Born Free 4" event. This bike has me itching to make a custom. Glad I don't have the skills or I'd be in trouble and broke too. Great job!

I wish I could have gone to born free. Maybe next year. Seeing pictures of those bikes inspired me. I really dig that 70's style chopper bobber builds.
I should have the tins back by next week. Got the bike wired with the exception of the tail light.

No I have not. I was hoping for this week. Looks it will be next week sometime. The painter had to let it cure before he packs everything up for shipping. I'll update my thread asap.
Your bike is turning out great Clif!

Agreed. I am getting ansi waiting for the tins. Bike is pretty much waiting on the tank and fender. There are a few odds and ends I still need, but for the most part it's rideable. Last weekend I put enough gas in the bowl and kicked it over to hear it idle for a minute. Sounds ****ing great!
Once I get it all together I'll do a video of it running.

Quick update!
Tank and fender should be in my possession on Nov 6th. Here is a quick video of the bike running. Mark from Frontline Cycles here in longmont brought down his fire bomb. Fine tunning the bike and checking to make sure everything is good to go.
