O-Ring on Mainjet

Maybe.

This problem haunted me till I took it to a dealer. I had gone throught he carb 3 times. What it was was a slit in the O-ring on the mainjet. The carb was a Bendix. It would be OK until I accelerated and then the vacuum would open up the O-ring slit and flood bad.

The reason is you have to force this O-ring across a set of threads before it ever gets to seat and the threads cut it.

Yep - that o-ring is tricky to install without damaging it. Gotta use some TLC. Been there done that.
