Buell/Softail

Well for anyone that cares Here's the start of my project.

DNA frame. 3 out 1 1/2 up. Got my tank 2 inch stretch and solo seat. Mocked up a fender. Had planned on using the buell front end wheels and tires but it's begging for a 240 tire and a wide glide front end. Soooooo I may go 60 spoke wheels.
2000 m2 for the donor.

All due respect, I really hate to see those Buells chopped up into something that is a passing phase. Once those tube frame Buells are destroyed, they can never come back.

These choppers can always use a sportster engine with a set of ported heads (thunderstorm heads), and Wa'laa, you have Buell power.

The old tube frame Buells are worth way more alive then dead, and a whole lot more fun. They are becoming collector items. Don't wreck em, rebuild em.

Just my opinion.....

I agree with Bald Tire. I have a Buell s3t and would never sell it to a butcher. Save them Buells. Buell lovers should start a movement to save them tubers.

Well take heart. I cannot use the front end so the tuber is safe. So I'll be riding the buell looking for just the right situation and then make a decision.
