Alright, Im curious to know if theres a good place to find info about building a custom bike.
Im thinking of getting a roller from somewhere and an engine from a salvaged bike, but any good sites to visit to help out doing electrical, setting it all up etc.
any info is great.
also, where does everyone look for engines from? salvage places? ebay?
Im canadian btw, so some ppl dont ship/sell to canadians off ebay.
first i would check your registration laws. a new motor, trans, frame with MSO is difficult enough, but maybe you canadians are luckier
as far as the build-----------decide the style, then just let your mind go!!!!! i will sit for long time looking at one area of the bike----what do i want to do here????
anyway, the build will be an expression of the builder, like an artist.
Start with what style you want and search from there, most of the bigger companies that will most likely have the best deals will ship to canada. If you want to run an evo motor it's almost just as cheap to buy new especially if you will have to pay a shop to do the motor labor.
