Riding a chopper compaired to a ........

Guys,
I don't know if this has been covered yet but I am thinking of going from my old bile.........

To this "well not exactly like this, the bike I am thinking of getting is similar but has the 300 rear end and maybe just maybe a little bit more rake at the front.......
My question is what are these chopper style bike's like to ride?? are they just something that is easy to get used to or are there any special considerations I need to know before trying to ride one of these??
Any advice will be much appreciated
Neil
