Front End Problems

Here are the specs:

40 deg. neck
5 in. BB stretch
8 in. DT stretch
0 deg. trees
80' - 83' Wide Glide Forks with 18'' over tubes

My problem is front end slop. If I jerk the bars fast, the wheel takes a half second to catch up (looks like it is wobbling a good 1/2 inch).
I have a fork brace mounted about 3 inches from the sliders. My first thought was maybe incorrect size of the inner wheel bearing spacer, but I just got a Hallcraft 21 in. front wheel with sealed bearings and it is the same problem with that as well. Any ideas?

The 41mm tubes are flexing. You will need to add a couple of braces on the tubes and get a set of beefy triple trees. I bet it will still flex like a wet noodle.

Problem fixed. One of the triple tree pinch bolts was missing, and the other one was barely on.
