1988 Fltc

Good morning

Have a 1988 FLTC that I want to swap out with a S&S Super E, Engine is stock with the only up grades so far is replacing the intake to the crush washer type.

Question - Stock carb has a vacuum hose that goes to a switch/relay? by the horn, what is it?

The Super E has a vacuumn hose that goes from carb to intake - can I install a tee and run a hose to the swith/relay?

Thanks

Vern

Vern-

That is the VOES= Vacuum Operated Electrical Switch

You can "T" your E, or plug either the intake or the carb, but Ya must connect to the VOES off one of those vacuum sources to run properly.
