Right jet sizes for setup?

I don't really have a dilema, more of a ponder. I have a 108in evo, 4 3/4 stroke, 3 13/16 bore. I built it from Delkron cases, Axtell jugs, JE pistons, S&S superstocks ported by CycleRama, Dyna 2000 ignition, Andrews EV81 cam, Super G, and RB racing 2into1. Oh, and the compression ratio is 11to1. THIS IS THE QUSTION, I'm using an 84 main and a 33 intermediate, do those sound to big, or am I way off? I'm a shade tree when it comes to tuning, so I read plugs and "listen" for problems. Plugs are a bit on the carbon side, but never turns over more then 3 times to start. Any advice would be welcome, even if it's for a different cam or exhaust. I ride this bike everyday (unless I break something), so it's not that it sits. It runs good, but it "feels" like it's missing something. The bike itself is the greatest of all scoots, an FXRS-SP. Also I have a Thunder Jet kit, but haven't installed it. Are they really worth it or not?

They don't sound way too big. You gotta start somewhere. Have you been running with this jetting? When in doubt......fatten it up. Watch for power gains...and losses, then go down in jets for best performance. Less chance of damaging anything if you start on the rich side and go down.

I like the Thunder-jet on an S&S.

Interesting

I have a bone stock evo with a screaming eagle ignition and dresser duals with hollow slip-ons. Bike was lean as heck with the S&S Super E - intermediate .30 and main .72. I bumped up 2 sizes on both (.32 & .74 and seems to be perfect now (pulls smooth and more). Still need to put more straight cruising miles on it to really read the plugs. After hearing about your motor and running such a small intermediate jet on yours makes me question my setup.

You have an "E" carb., He has the "G". Not Apples for apples here. His jetting is different....even with the same jet numbers.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to change the head gaskets on it soon, so I'll check the plugs again. I would like to find a dyno, and have it tuned that way. Atleast then I wouldn't be leaving anything to guess.
