99 ROAD KING & Mikuni idle problems

I purchased a used RK last summer that I couldn't for the best of me tune the CV carb. Over the winter I installed a Mikuni and the performance has improved but the exremely poor idle that the Cv had is still prent with the Mikuni --The tune up is good spark is good ignition box is a new crane nothing has improved my idle--I am lost any help would be appreciated off idle it runs great by the way.

What cam is in the bike? I have SE211's, and a buddy said my bike idled wierd, asked what cam I had, then said "Ahha! thats why!"

In oother words....performance cams can adversely effect idle quality.
