CV Carb Assembly

Picked up a used CV carb as a spare. I cleaned it but baffled by one part. It's the silver cylinder that sits under the emulsion tube. The needle slides into it. Which way does it go in?

claydbal will become famous soon enough
the end that goes up will have a rounded, tapered hole. think of a radiused area so the needle slides in and out without damage my old eye says it would be the right side , looking at the picture.

longer end up. You will know if you have it in upside down because it will idle but die as soon as you give it throttle. You will see one end fits matches the emulsifier tube perfectly.
