Starting Problems

I’ve got a stock ’80 Sportster with the Keihin butterfly carb.
I rebuilt the carb 2 years ago, and am now experiencing starting problems.
Can’t get the engine to start, cough or anything else….. unless I prime the carb with a squirt of gas.
Once it starts, it runs fine.
Stop the thing for 10 minutes or so, and I’ve gotta do the priming thing again.
Anyone have any idea what the prob may be?
Float level?
Accelerator?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks Paul
